Welcome to Archie's Pub and Eatery. We are located at the corner of George St and Michigan St on the east side of De Pere, WI.
Archie's was opened for business on January 14th, 2009 by Peter and Momo and the name of the pub is derived from our best friend Archie, who is a 4 year old German Shorthaired Pointer.

When you stop into Archie's Pub, you will find yourself in De Pere's original corner pub. This particular corner building has housed a pub for over 100 years. The storied history of the building includes it operating as a Speakeasy during the Prohibition Years (1920-1933) complete with a secret dumb-waiter system for bringing down the bottles of hooch from the still, which was secretly hidden in attic over the barber shop next door. The still was so cleverly designed that it even had it's steam vent tied into the chimney system to disguise the operation of the still.

The most famous owners of this corner pub were Art and Erma Geurts. Their place was called Art and Erma's and was a fixture on the corner for 30 years. At Archie's today, 20 years since Art and Erma last tended bar, you'll still hear stories about them, tales of their antics, and how they raised 8 (or maybe it's 18) kids upstairs. We can only hope to leave such a positive impression on the community.

Today, Archie's Pub carries on the corner pub tradition. We are the place where everyone is friends and new friends are always invited. We have a fun and tasty menu with enough variety to satisfy everyone. From burgers to pizza, salads to vegetarian dishes. We have a large selection of tap and bottled beer and are constantly updating our selection. Our selection of liquors, including some fabulous aged Irish Whiskies and Scottish Single Malts, is top notch.

Stop by after work, for lunch or dinner, to celebrate your favorite team's win, or to just hang out and have a great time. We're here way too much, so odds are if you feel like dropping by, we'll be here.
